All residents will receive a tote from the village. The totes are property of The Village of Tuscarawas. Totes must remain at the residence or the property owner will be assessed the cost of the tote or be charged with theft.
Billing is included on Water and Sewer bill every other month.
There will be no trash removal on New Years Day, Memorial Day, July 4, Labor Day, Thanksgiving Day and Christmas Day. If one of these holidays falls on a Monday or a Tuesday, then the pickup day will be on Wednesday. If the holiday falls on any other day, the pickup will be on Tuesday.
Consistent with the Village’s previous refuse service, the weekly collection is limited to the contents of your 95-gallon refuse tote, and DOES NOT include construction and demolition debris, tires, batteries, automotive/truck parts, hazardous/infectious waste, flammable liquids, and any waste prohibited from disposal in a municipal solid waste landfill. (Call the Tuscarawas County Solid Waste District for information on disposal of these items – 800-578-9839).
As with the previous service, residents may set out one “Bulk Item” per month. THE FIRST TUESDAY OF EACH MONTH IS DESIGNATED AS “BULK PICKUP DAY”. On Bulk Pickup Day, each resident may set out one bulk item for collection. A “Bulk Item” is anything too large to fit in your refuse tote. Non-baggable items such as swing sets, carpet, tree limbs, gutter and down spouts, must be cut and bundled in lengths not exceeding 48″ and fifty pounds. Appliances containing Freon must have the Freon removed and the unit tagged by a qualified technician.
Kimble will not pick up tree limbs (unless they will fit inside the tote), hazardous waste, oil, paints, car tires, car batteries, propane tanks, steel pipe, dirt, rocks, concrete blocks, bricks, or construction materials.Please do not overload your tote so it is difficult to move.

Recycling
Tuscarawas Village and Warwick Township residents can drop off their recyclables at the Tusky Community Center. Large dumpsters will remain inside the gated area. Items may be dropped off from 7:30 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. Monday through Friday and noon to 7 p.m. on Saturday. Click here for a list of what you can recycle. (Requires Adobe Acrobat Reader.)

Tree Limb Pickup
